Poigniant

Reminds me of a similar event that occured in my life many years ago (I was like poster boy, only in my case it was comic books). Nice work overall, my only beef was the sound was somewhat muffled in places. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in the future!

Very True...

I have come to believe that computer stores are in fact magical vorticies in which no computer can malfunction. I had a similar problem once after I got an upgrade where I had to take the computer back to the store a staggering 13 times. In the end it turned out the retards simply hadn't screwed in the printer connection port properly. Assholes... Oh good movie, BTW.

MetalClock responds:

Heh, that sounds like a real pain in the ass. Thanks for the review.

I almost never do this, but....

You jus earned yourself a 5 my friend. EXCELLENT.

Just one thing

You misspelled "disgusting"

AntiClockClock responds:

Sorry I forgot to use microsoft word with spell-checking.

Nice rotoscoping

While I'm impressed that you took the time to do this, I've never been a fan of rotoscoping (for those who don't know, it's traced live-action footage) And you definately need to up the sound. A lip-syncing tip: put mouth shapes on the frame before the frame the sound appears on.

confusedwatcher responds:

As I told the above reviewer, Thanks for your flattery. If you think the smooth animation on this one was traced. Wait till you see episode 2. To answer your question No, it was not traced. You see, it's easy to do smooth frame by frame if you start out with stick figures. Then you can make it as smooth as you want. Then use real art over the stick figures. Try it sometimes. The results are phenomenal.

Bravo!

I once heard an art film described as "A deep and meaningful exploration of the human condition"... in otherwords, total BS! Thank god someone agrees with me!

Nerdlicious!

I get and appreciate every single joke...I'm such a friggin' nerd....

Flawed

God has to exist for you to kill him (which you couldn't)

I'm torn...

I'll admit that I did not like this particular installment of N.Y. when I first watched it. However I decided to give it the benefit of the doubt and have since watched it a couple more times and it has grown on me.
I've read some of the other reviews put here and while I do agree that the animation is quite limited (ie almost absent) I do not mind because the humour is more important. If something sets out to be funny and it makes me laugh, then that's mission accomplished.
To those who dislike this movie (or indeed this series) because they don't share the author's sense of humour, I can only ask; why are you still watching?

DIRTY DEEDS!!!
