[Point Perspective Tutor]

Great tutorial but....

I'll admit, I skimmed through it, (as all the info in it is pretty old-hat to me) so maybe I missed it but didn't you leave out the horizon line? Arguably the single most important element of perspective layouts! Also, you might have mentioned (although it's a little advanced) that objects not aligned to each other have different perspective points. All in all good stuff though.

I disagree that the horizon line is necessary in the construction of the drawing elements. The perspective points in 2pt.pers accomplishes that. It can be drawn in when you need to generate the actual horizon in the drawing.
I do agree partially that objects can have their own perspective points, but anything with any orientation can be generated using the existing scene perspective points.

Nice work

Could use a couple of tweaks though. Primarily, purple subtitles are hard to read. You should make them a different colour. Second, when Douglas is attacking his "yells" are quite weak. Make sure to put genuine emphasis into your dialogue to prevent that "reading off the page" sound. Overall, good effort and looking forward to part two!

Absolute garbage

A pathetic slideshow of artwork ripped fromthe Blizzard home page, overlayed with text from Blizzard and combined with some hokey neo-hippie crap music does NOT add up to a good flash. As a movie, it's a disgrace. As a Starcraft tribute, it's INSULTING.

It's just FLASH, get over it....

Not that I'm saying this isn't a good movie. Nice imagery, excellent timing, thematically appropriate music, all good....BUT...Flash is just a tool. Like all tools, some will use it to it's fullest potenital but most will not. Hammers and saws are readily available, but you don't see everyone making their own furniture, do you? Having access to flash does not grant you magical powers or grandious insights into the true meaning of the universe. It lets you make cool little games and movies on the internet and that's IT.

It's good....

But it's JUST good. It COULD be great, but it needs more. More what? More EVERYTHING. More animation, better sound, cleaner lip sync, etc. Don't get me wrong, this is a great effort! If more NG stuff was this good, BC would probably be outta business! Just crank it up a notch.

Oh and one more thing: Don't make all your female characters brunettes. You're doing anime style, so go nuts with the hair!

No reason to paint the minis for a 10 second short that's going to destroy them all. But look for all painted guys in the large scale one.
